Oblomov by Ivan Goncharov

Hey i started reading Oblomov that is my long term dream.

I was longing to buy this book and it became reality at the Colombo International Book fair.

This is from Russian but i don't think it is similar to other types.

At the perface, it is mentioned that Oblomov is a towner and idle guy.

Expect more comment on Oblomov.

Birthday

I turned out to 42 on yesterday.
It is shakey that i am in a decending curve.

In the same time , i am thinking how many people who is older than me, i am meeting.
So nothing to worry :)

Private Campus

this is my thought regarding this :

Assume we have student named X and Y and A/L exam will rate their intelligence for sure.

X received 80 marks from A/L exam.
Y received 50 marks from A/L exam.

Now assume:
1. There is a private campus which offer engineering degree.
2. This private camps; Pass mark is 50 from A/L exam.
3. Government campus : Pass mark is 85 from A/L exam.

assume this for students:
1. X's parents are poor they can't offer him private camps
2. Y's parents are rich.

If these assumptions are correct , what will happen?

1. Y will go to private campus and earn a engineering degree.
2. Ultimately Y will become an engineer.

What will happen to poor X?

1. X will not go to any campus
2. He may ended up as a laborer.

While less intelligent Y will become a engineer and poor X but more intelligent , become a laborer.
